The Museum houses, in addition to the well-stocked scientific library, the following exhibition spaces:

  • Cetaceans Gallery with the skeleton of a 20-meter whale and a young sperm whale suspended from the ceiling;
  • Tegnùe Aquarium consisting of a large 5 meter long tank with a capacity of about 5,000 liters that faithfully recreates one of the most interesting environments: the Upper Adriatic;
  • On the trail of life with a part reserved for the 1973 Ligabue Expedition which brought to light numerous finds including the almost entire skeleton of a dinosaur and the skull of a huge crocodile and another dedicated to fossils, from their formation to their interpretation by paleontologists;
  • Collect to amaze, collect to study which tells the evolution of naturalistic collecting and the birth of scientific museology, with a special interlude reserved for Venetian explorers;
  • The strategies of life that is the various life forms and the complexity of two important activities, nutrition and movement.

There are also sections dedicated to special collections not directly accessible to the visitor but usable, on request, by scholars and researchers (botany, zoology, earth sciences, etc.).
